Update

I can't believe it's been almost three months since my last post. Time is going by so quickly and it seems like there's hardly enough hours in the day to spend time with Kahlan, work and clean the house. Of course I'm supposed to start back to school (part time thank goodness) in January.

So hard to believe she's almost 6 months old. She is such a happy girl, full of smiles and giggles every morning when she wakes up and throughout the day. Right now she is napping, and I have tonight's dinner in the crockpot. Sometime today I need to get some work done (boo) but at least it's only a couple of hours. I would much rather curl up with my sweet girl.

Kahlan Jasmine Two Months

Belated birth story

Life has been so crazy (but wonderful!) since our daughter, Kahlan Jasmine, was born on 4/10. My water broke after we were out to dinner with friends and walking around the mall. Four hours later she was born :)

My maternity leave went way too quickly as I went back to work half days after four weeks and then back to full time after six weeks. She's been sleeping seven hours at a time at night, and we are so in love with our beautiful daughter.

I hope everyone's doing well and enjoying the summer. I am hopeful to have some more time to catch up on blogs and to update mine.
